Hello everyone,
Yes its true, I cannot wait to wake up everyday and see what Noah will do next. He is changing so fast and doing new things every day. These past months have been the best 7 months of my life but WOW.. did they ever go by fast. Well today is June 22nd 2011 and it is Noahs 7 month birthday. Its unbelievable how fast he is growing up and becoming such a little man. He is definitely already showing signs of his personality. You can tell he has a little bit of my hypeactivity "I wanna gooo" and a little of his moms... "I want it cuz I want it" attitude.. The fun is just begining.
Noah has really taken great leaps in the last couple of weeks with his independance and has started to learn to crawl. He hasn't gotten it right down pat yet but he can definitely push himself around on the carpet. And little did Julia and I know, but it appears as Noah has been taking Yoga lessons without us as we seem to constantly find him in the Downward Facing Dog. It seems to be in favorite. I have a feeling that it will not be too long before Noah starts trying to walk. I intend to lose alot of weight chasing him around.
Noah seems to really like his new home. We moved into the new apartment on May 28 2011 in Richmond. Noah really enjoys that we have South Arm Park right in our backyard and that we take him on several walks around the park. We have found that the walks are a great way to ease the pain of his teething. In the park is South Arm Pool. That is where I started taking my first swimming lessons when I was around 6 yrs old. It will be quite exciting to take Noah swimming there as well. Can't wait till I have a nice sunny day off.
On a sad note, Noah lost his Great Grandfather Antonio this month. Antonio lived in Lisbon, Portugal for the last many years of his life. As a young man Antonio worked at the Santa Maria Airport in the Azores where he raised his family for many years before moving to Montreal in mid 1960's. Antonio will be greatly missed but WE are all sure he is watching over Noah everyday.

Where has the time gone??
Hello everyone, Sorry it has taken me such a long time to update the blog. I am sure most of you have forgotten about by now.. But there is an update for those of you who have been patient and stuck around.
I can't believe that Noah was born five months ago today, and at an incredible 4lbs 3oz and only 17in long. WOW!!!. Five Months later and here he is, weighing over 12lbs and a whooping 24in in length. Noah has moved out of the bassinet beside our bed and is sleeping full time in his crib now and is getting better at sleeping through the night. Julia has gone back to work already and "WE" have had amazing support from our families. From both our sets of parents, our siblings, and extended families, Julias godmother and Uncle (who has thankfully agreed to teach Noah Portuguese) to all of our friends.
As much as I like writing this blog to brag to everyone about my son, I really write it for all of you to read and enjoy and be able to follow along. We have not been able to make it out as much as we used to or would like too and we have not been able to call everyone back to thank them or to just say hi because well frankly, We don't know where the time goes anymore. So this is our way of saying thanks to EVERYONE who is a part of ours and now Noahs Life. It is amazing to see how something or someone can bring so much joy and touch so many people, and during a time when I think alot of people needed it. Noah was a blessing that we never saw coming.
I truly hope you enjoy this installment of photos.

Daddys' L'il Gift
Hello everyone.
I hope you are not waiting too long between posts to read these and see the new pictures, as I am finding what seems like one day after my last post is really 2 or 3 weeks.
Noah had a dr's appt today and he is doing great. He is upto 8lbs 11oz and is doing exactly what a bay "his age" should be doing. That is great news as we are always a little concerned about the fact that he was born a little early. The doctor did inform us that developmentally Noah will be a couple months slower during this stage but should catch up by about 8 months. This is wonderful news. His Umbilical Hernia is nothing to be concerned about at this stage and is not causing him any pain so that is very good.
Noah is still quite the night owl. I have been putting his resume out in the local bars needing a bartender. I figure if he is going to be awake all night he could be at least working. We are currently working to find a reason for his gassyness but apparently it is not to serious at this stage and should go away.
I have almost finished my first project for Noah. Believe it or not, I made Noah a Canucks Toy Box. I found an old box at a thrift store and fixed it and repainted it. It came out not to bad. Just a few touch ups and its all done. I don't think its a coincidence that the Canucks are having their best season the same year he is born.
Well thats it for now.. As much fun as it is to write about him, it is more fun to go and play with him. So with that said I am attaching some great new photos and I am off to play. Julia calls it bothering him. LOL
So in the mean time and in between time... enjoy the photos.

Yesterday Grandma Schofield had a small shower for Noah to meet all his cousins and it was a great time. Noah got so many great and amazing gifts. He is very lucky to have a family that loves him so much. Noah is excited for his parents to stop being so lazy and get his room done so that he can try out his new turtle night light from Aunty Ang. Although I admit all of Noahs gifts were amazing, my favorite were his socks that he got.
So in the mean time and in between time... enjoy the photos.
